All around us people are trying to prove their authenticity. People like new entrepreneurs who want to better then everyone else. Restaurants who want have the best food. Relatives want to be your favorite. Everywhere you go you meet people that are trying to prove their authenticity

I think the example of a restaurant is interesting in terms of authenticity. Surely, restaurants want to convince you that there food is the best (or at least good), but authenticity is a whole other issue. How does an italian restaurant convey authenticity? How is this different from a Spanish or Greek restaurant?
